Dim (Diindolylmethane) for Hormonal Balance

Insufficient evidence 1 studies

Research suggests that DIM may play a role in hormonal balance by influencing estrogen metabolism and aromatase activity, the process through which the body converts testosterone into estrogen. The available evidence, however, is extremely limited — consisting at present of a single case report involving one elderly male patient, which observed favorable changes in both testosterone and PSA levels over a three-month supplementation period. Case reports of this kind cannot establish causation, and the authors themselves acknowledge that the observed changes cannot be definitively attributed to DIM alone. Larger, controlled studies are needed before any meaningful conclusions can be drawn about DIM's effects on hormonal balance in the broader population.
